I'll try to post a pic this weekend. It's cold and gray and raining today, but the weather should lighten tomorrow and Saturday. But right now...yuck!

:rain::pout::storm:

Because :useless:

The rain has stopped briefly and the watery sun is out. Here is a microcosm of my fall/ winter collection. More pics will follow ( hopefully) tomorrow.

Wonderful! I am very impressed!

I would love to thin my bags down to just the ones I love and really use!

Around four years ago a friend recommended a premier designer to me, I bought one, having never before owned anything more expensive than a Stone Mountain and then...here I am several years later with 20+ handbags.

Before that I'll bet I never owned more than five handbags at any one time.

I told myself these OTHER women have a problem, I am FINE...and that worked until I ran out of room in the guest closet to store my bags. They are hanging off doorknobs now in the guestroom and masterbedroom. My closet runneth over. :roflmfao:

SO the first step is admitting you have too many bags. I do. I don't need this many. I don't use them all. I have favorites that I turn to over and over again.

I might not pare down to just 13 bags, but I CAN pare down to what will fit in my guestroom closet...with the door shut and no bags hanging from doorknobs in any room. ;)

(Says the woman who just ordered another cosmetic case today. :blushing: )

:lolots: I feel for you,Tinybutterfly! At one point my collection was at 50+ bags. So many beautiful bags I never wore. Finally I chose only the ones I wear often and effortlessly. But even now I have to "talk myself off the ledge" when the dreaded impulse purchase beckons. It's a process and a journey. And everyone's is unique. Good luck with your resolve!

Thank you!

If I ever do manage to take some of my bags to the consignment shop, I will come here and post!

Right now I just need to stop.purchasing. anything. new.

I've told myself SLGs don't count...but those pile up, too. :p

Full disclosure day. I recently found myself smitten with a Ralph Lauren Winford bag. The color and the leather threatened my resolve to behave more responsibly concerning my bags. So I selected two bags I could sell, recouped the funds needed for the Ralph Lauren, and added to my collection by subtraction. Pic to follow.

As promised.... :giggles:

Gorgeous bag!

Oh Fim - that's gorgeous! I've become a big fan of Ralph Lauren bags... the designs are lovely, and the quality is superb! Congrats Fim! :D

Thank you, Tomsmom and Maice. I fell in love with the color. So many "red" bags are meh. But this is a gorgeous true red. It's my first Ralph Lauren, and I have to agree with you, Maice. The quality is amazing. I love everything about it and don't regret the two bags I sold to fund it.
