When is the 2015 summer sale in Paris?

10 designs to choose from. Sorry I don't know what the styles are called. Each person could buy ten scarves/silks and ten ties. One lady said we could only buy three large scarves but not all of them were strictly enforcing it.

Thank you Koeeeee! Went yesterday, no CSGM left. No DD GM left. So didn't end up with any scarves at all. A bit disappointing with the choices available but nonetheless was really interesting to see since it was my first time going to the sale. :smile1:

Hello. I am new to this site but I will share my experiences here. I went to the Hermes sale Thursday and Friday morning. Very few cashmere/silk shawls. I bought several of the Graff. The color way was ok but not fabulous. I also bought some carres. I asked the SA if they had any carres in Peinture Fraiche and amazingly she went to back and brought me three to chose from. I have lived in Paris for the past five years and have attended many Hermes sales and I have to say that this was by far the worst selection I have ever seen. They always replenished the shawls each day and always had far more appealing carres. And I have no idea what makes an SA decide to get something special for me and other times not. Perhaps their full-priced retail sales are so strong they just don't have much left for the sale. Or perhaps they hold things back for the employees sale. BTW an assistant said that on Sunday everything that is left is 80% off. It must be a mad house.

Thank you for sharing your experience. Though this is my first H sale I've been too, from reading past tpf threads it looks like it was the worst offering compared to the last years.
May I ask if you know the employees sale on Saturday and Sunday is for employees in Paris/France/Europe/worldwide? Just curious. :D

No. I don't know the scope of the employees sale on Saturday but the Sunday 80% off sale is open to the public. I had never heard of the Sunday sale before. Not sure if it is new.

That is really odd. I have heard of what they call "braderie", where what is left from the sales from Wednesday to Saturday (when it used to be open to the public) goes on this additional price reduction on Monday. From my understanding no braderie took place for the January 2015 sales. Also, I remember that for stores not on the Champs-Élysées, only the first Sunday of the official sales period grants the right to stores opening on that particular Sunday. This is really something new.

Isn't Sunday also "employees only" sale?
