Hello Ladies,

I had my first H soldes experience last Winter and I was happy. I went on day 2 or 3, I forget, no queues and no 'crazies' (ha!) - I still picked up quite a few items such as scarves and RTW. They re-stock daily. Enjoy - and post your finds, please! We love to live vicariously :)

Planning to go on the 2nd day as well. Hope to find some nice twillies...
If I remember correctly they had enamel bracelets on sale last time. Do you know the price/available colours?

It's always worth to take a look. I visited the Sale last year and it was quite empty! Scored 2 CSGM (PdM in white and Séquences) and a lovely pair of gloves in UV! Wish you and all H unters best of luck!

Empty of people or empty of merchandise?
All I can manage is Friday. Will it still be worth it?
Will therebe only items of SS2015 or FW 2014 and older as well?
I am interested in scarves and maybe a bracelet

The merchandise available at the sale is generally from about 2 years prior. Don't expect to see anything from 2014 or 2015 - with the caveat that occasionally there are recent things that find their way to the sale. I would check them carefully to be absolutely certain that they are not at the sale because of a defect.

I went on Day 1 of the Winter sale in Jan 2014 - a huge number of the cashmere GMs had damages - mostly pulls and sometimes holes. We also went on a subsequent day (can't recall if it was Day 2 or 3 - LOL!) and the 90 cm twills were almost entirely different designs.

In my opinion, it is definitely worth a trip, you will find interesting things and there are usually surprises or unexpected things. I am going to the July sale and cannot wait!!

Yes, agree with all this! You are more likely to see things + or - 2 years in formats like mousseline, jerseys, and sometimes cashmeres. Speaking of the latter, last year I bought a CSGM in neutral colors from just one season prior to the sale. It was in perfect condition when I bought it, and I couldn't believe my luck. But it pulled like nobody's business as soon as I wore it, and I'm very careful with my cashmeres! This is the only one I own that I've put a pull in myself. So I can't help but think something was wrong with that batch that resulted in their being in the sale. Caveat emptor!

That being said, I've booked my ticket for day 2 of this year's sale. Hurrah!

Hello ladies!

I'm definitely going to Paris for the sale and I was wondering (might be a silly question but..): is it best to be there on the first day or should I wait to visit on the last day?
