Got mine on our wedding day. We ordered early: he held onto my wedding band and I held onto his until the actual ceremony.

@texasgirliegirl: sounds gorgy! do you have pics? I did the round brilliant. :)

mine is a very thin half eternity.. Bought for wedding as my WB.

My wedding band is an eternity band. And I love it! If you're able to I would definitely get an eternity band as your wedding band. Then you can get another eternity band as an anniversary present ;-)

I also have three very thin eternity bands that I wear stacked (pave style). And I received those last year as a gift from my husband after I had my son. They're amazing too!

I also got mine as a wedding band. I like that if I don't feel like wearing my e-ring, there's still some sparkle!

It's a half-band as I heard they were more practical, not just for wear and tear but also if I needed to get it resized for whatever reason down the road. But it's got 12 diamonds, which means it looks like a full band as the diamonds go pretty far down each side.

I'd like a second one for my right hand, thicker maybe, with channel cut baguettes - I love that chunky look! But I'm only married 5 years - I'll happily wait a while.

I got my half channel-set band a couple of years ago. It's a family heirloom... I'm grateful it is only half set with diamonds since otherwise, I wouldn't been able to have it sized down to my tiny ring size: 3

I'm still training my DH and dropping lots of hints that I want a few different bands to mix and match. He in theory likes the idea of getting me either a yellow diamond (yellow gold) eternity band or a pink one (rose gold) for something "different." Hopefully for an anniversary!

To commemorate our 10th anniversary. I purchased it myself -- I found an unbelievable bargain on eBay and I was pretty set on getting it ... I wasn't going to sit around hoping to get one as nice from the hubby at full retail. My motto is if it can be achieved, go ahead and do it! :)

Question: is there a right way to wear an eternity band -- should it sit over the e-ring or below it? I like how it looks in the former because my e ring sits higher up but I think there's an etiquette to it I'm sure...
