When did you get an eternity band?

So I am getting married this winter. I am lusting over getting an emerald cut eternity band...

Did you get yours as an anniversary gift? Have yours bought before the wedding?

Many of the companys I am looking at offer payment plans so I was thinkin just to do that and not have it arrive until the wedding...(just for the supersticious side of me)

i got my first eternity band as a "promise ring" from my ex-boyfriend before he went off to school. it obviously didn't work out so i just ended up selling it. i felt like it had a bad vibe to it so i couldn't bear to have it anymore (silly i know). it sure was beautiful though
