Unfortunately mine is a sad story, I was given a lot of jewelry but it was stolen by a family member; it was a shame because I had planned on paying a small chunk of my post grad education with it. I didn't know until half way through college it was all gone. So I started my own jewelry collection. It's small but growing, and I'll be happy to have something to pass down.
As for Tiffany, I became interested in the silver in my early teens seeing my friends receive gorgeous gifts for their bat mitzvah. I bought my first Tiffany's after I started my first job at 15 and then it snowballed from there.
