Curious because I'm in the market for one! A larger size daily/work bag that can hold a lot and doesn't have to be "babied."

I'd especially love to hear from people who have used a bag heavily for a long time and have been pleased with how it's held up.

I'm eyeing either a Chloe Marcie or a Balenciaga City, but would love to hear about your favorites.

On a daily basis, I don't carry much so I don't need a large bag. However, when I travel, I use my Bal Velo and it has held up tremendously and can take a beating. I prefer the Velo to the City only because it can be worn cross body, but if that isn't a requirement for you, I think the City would suite your needs perfectly. FWIW, I've hear the Marcie is heavy.

I love my Balenciaga City, but it's not big enough to be my daily workhorse, and it's too much of a pain to get into.

My favorite workhorse, hands down, is the LV Neverfull. It has a D-ring for keys inside, a huge interior pocket, comes with a pochette which is a godsend for organization, and it's lightweight, durable, attractive, and versatile (color wise and casual/smart wise). It's literally perfect.

Between the Chloe Marcie and the bal, I'd definitely recommend the Marcie if it's big enough for your daily essentials. The leather is amazing and very durable. I've had my Marcie for several years, use it a ton and it looks as good as new. For me, the tassel zipper pulls and distressed look of bal bags is unappealing. Good luck deciding on the best bag for you!

Chloe Marcie! I borderline abuse my 2 Marcie's and they look fantastic. I have 2 toddlers so I don't have time to baby my bags most of the time. I put them on the ground, carry it in the rain, stuff it full of anything and everything and it still looks fantastic.

I don't have a bal city but im selling my Velo because I feel like I can't throw it around as much.

I could be biased because my style is more Marcie ... classic/feminine/sometimes a little bohemian. I feel like a rock star when I wear my bal and my personality does not match lol.

BV woven cervo hobo -- worn it for 2 years, perhaps not every day but very regularly, you could say my default, looks like new and most BV looks better and better
Gucci bamboo Top-handle - now 5 years old and goes with me everywhere I want to look (daytime) smart. Most leather Gucci bags last forever
Hermes GP - perfect every day shopping bag
Silver Cambridge co Satchel - when I don't want to wear an expensive bag (I think they look better older too)

 I must say I find my Chloe bags age gracefully.

Balenciaga City over Chloe Marcie, they come in a myriad of colours and hardware and always look edgy.
