Many thanks Evekitti :smile1:
As for tennis bracelets, my first one was an all round brilliant diamond bracelet. I absolutely adored it, wore it almost daily for years, but after some point (about 5-6 years) I decided I would now prefer a tennis bracelet with different cut stones this time around (so I sold that bracelet to one of my sisters...she thought I was going to give it to her lol.)

Oh yeah and this time, I want much bigger stones too :D!

So basically my advice to you is pretty useless since I'm saying get either one, or both!

Haha.... you're funny. Of course I want both!!! But a good compromise would be to get a round brilliant bracelet first then when I'm tired of it, I can order custom cut emeralds or baguettes and reset the bracelet.

Ha! Ok I'm officially thick in the head lol... I stole a big picture, I really like it! It is dressy though. Do you want it for dressy occasions?

And I think it is overpriced.

This one

is 12.6 ct and goes for $12,000

It's so overpriced! I don't think the stones are very big either. I was told that matching baguettes are impossible to find so I guess that explains the premium.

To answer your question, I'd like a tennis bracelet that's a little dressier. Here's another photo of a bracelet I like too. How big do you think each of the round brilliants are?

:pout: I got first in line months ago for Leah's panther bracelet. No line jumpers please lol Even DH likes it.
No children here so if something happens to me, sky queen its yours.;)

Been looking for diamond bracelets myself. (Not tennis though)
For a higher diamond ct weight, you can do better than the pricing on overstock. It just takes time. Have seen many at the auction house (very nice, excellent diamonds almost always in 18ct gold or platinum) run about $1,000 per ct. This is when the jewelry brokers stop buying so this must be where they can buy & make a profit. Hoping this is my next purchase, for big wedding anniversary next year.

^ that's so pretty! I think they are 2 bracelets right? It's hard to judge from a photo because the woman could have very small hands, but I estimate 0.3 ct.

Look at this baby at overstock http://www.overstock.com/Jewelry-Wa...nd-Tennis-Bracelet-J-VS2/3985093/product.html
holy mama and papa!

BTW I don't recommend overstock because they lost my Tahitian pearls...

I think it's 1 bracelet, 2 rows. It's Mia Farrow's hands :p

That bracelet from overstock is ....wow..... but if I get diamonds that size (I think it's about 0.5ct each) I prefer GIA certs to accompany each stone.

i bought one from overstock.com for 10K and 10TCW. I cant wait to see it!

I want to see too!!! :yahoo:

^ I never look at the prices in Overstock, after my Tahitian pearls fiasco I only look at the pictures kwim?
I hope you get your bracelet soon, and I can't wait to see it!!!

I think the diamond prices must have dropped a lot lately. On the other hand locally the platinum has gone waaay up!

Mia farrow has nice hands and she is small. You are right about the certs. DH insists on them.

Are you referring to this bracelet? I've been waiting for over a year for my jeweller to find matching baguettes but it's virtually impossible. The only way is to order custom-cut diamonds, which would cost a premium. I still love it but I don't want to pay a premium.

YES! Gorgeous - but maybe with more emerald than round - like the opposite proportion to the one shown.

OK, darling VLL...I'll TRY to be patient. Maybe share 6 months each?
You are right about trying an auction house, maybe not for a novice, though. KWIM?

Or any other diamond tennis bracelets of good quality diamonds and setting! Probably around 5 carats in total weight. I must research.
