WHATS YOUR CURRENT and/or DREAM OFFICE BAG?

I switch around a lot, but my favorite is still my black Boss Taylor tote. My dream bag I already own - I purchased a preloved LC Penelope tote in June and I haven't carried it once because I sent it to France for repairs. Can't wait to get it home!

BV (as is my standard); large Intrecciato Veneta in nero. Fits everything I need for my job and weighs almost nothing. Plus, it's gorgeous.

I don't have a dream bag for work at present, so I think I'll cooperate with my insomnia by doing a little red-eyed research to find one.

Haha I agree looking at bags instead of sleeping is a habit I need to subside! I don't have a BV bag, show us some pictures. lol

I haven’t found it. My ideal office bag would fit a laptop, have shoulder straps only (I dislike a top handle plus a crossbody or shoulder strap, particularly on large bags—it looks busy to me), be soft yet have some structure, and have a subtle edge/interest to it. I’ve considered The Row’s Top Handle 14, but it might just look like a boat, which is kind of what I think about “office” bags generally. Something so big and so utilitarian can only be so attractive, right?

That said, I do have high hopes for the attached Etro bag, which is on its way to me. It’s not perfect, but for the price I paid, I’m hoping that it will fit the bill. It has some interest, isn’t something I see every day, and it also looks very practical.

OP, for what it’s worth, I’d take the Loewe Puzzle over the Herbag. It is younger, edgier, and more interesting, IMHO.

Yeah the Herbag, "Errrbag" as how the SAs at Hermes calls it, LOL its not for everyone. It's simplistic, rectangular angles favor the nonchalant, no fuss people. I didn't like the look of the Herbag few years ago. Then it grew on me since I love messenger/briefcase type of bags with straps and this one is a home run for me. You should def try to get a puzzle bag, it's seriously life changing-you can wear it 5 different ways. !! lol

Real current work and travel bag: Travelon Anti-Theft LTD Tote in Wine. Fits my 15" laptop in a padded compartment, it's sturdy, light, waterproof, has several pockets & slots inside, 2 outer pockets plus outer bottle compartment, anti-slash material, RFID protection. No premier bag offers me as much, and I got it new on sale for a hundred bucks. There's a smaller satchel version of it, too.

Hi guys! I enjoyed reading your replies! I need your input. I'm planning to use a backpack for work- but I am currently researching for one. I thought LV will be a good brand. Which one do you think is better for guys?

The PM backpack really only fits a wallet, keys and maybe a small bottle of water, you wouldn't be able to carry much else in it, its more of a fashion bag than a work bag I'd say.
