I have seen Hamiltons at TJ MAXX with the locks and two days later without them. Someone is stealing the locks off the bags. I am sure of it. Then the store has to reduce the bag and people resell those on ebay. :nono: So sad!!

No, those are not fake bags. I'm sure there are lot of fakes out here but just because can't say that it's fake because of missing accessory.
Because Michael Kors didn't make this locks very strong so it sometimes breaks.
Lot of the department store, sometimes replace those locks for customer with bags that were displayed or from stocks when customers brings back a broken lock within the refund / return period. Than, this bags get sold to liquidation and it gets sold to public for lower price.

I bought few of those bags myself from ebay store, and you can just call Michael Kors, and get those locks replaced or get one free of charge. All you need is just your ship to address.

The locks seem pretty sturdy and well made IMO, so I doubt they're breaking or falling off. I think they're falling off into a person's hand because they stealing it! That's just me though. But if someone's going to steal a lock, why not take the key with it? If people are going to steal, at least do it right lolol just saying.. But yes, I have noticed a few bags on ebay that are being sold without locks and have also been wondering why that is..
