What's the difference between the First, the City, and the Work? Size comparison pics

I am not an expert (obviously) but I'd like to buy my first Balenciaga and I am a bit confised by the sizes of their bags. I like and use only big bags (my smaller one is 38x26x13 cm... sorry, I don't know in inches).

I like the City but it looks awfully small. So I would like to know which one is the biggest Balenciaga, possibly with normal (not oversize) hardware, and with handles that allow you to carry it on the shoulder without the strap (whcih I don't like).

Well the largest would be the Weekender.. but you can check the Balenciaga reference thread for the exact size.

Work is a great slighly bigger than City size. Do check Part Time/Weekender too. Here's some threads to help you visualise it.

The handles of the Weekender are 13.5" from hardware to hardware; the drop is 3.5" from the bottom of the handle to the zipper.

The handles of the Work are 13.5" from hardware to hardware; the drop is 3.5" from the bottom of the handle to the zipper.

The handles of the City are 12.5" from hardware to hardware; the drop is 4" from the bottom of the handle to the zipper.

The handles of the First are 12.5" from hardware to hardware; the drop is 4" from the bottom of the handle to the zipper.

So the Work and WE have the same handles, the City and the First have the same handles.

What I don't know are the handles for the PT and the Twiggy

Weird........on bag passion, they have listed that the WE is 16 inch handles with a 6.5 inch drop

You would think that even the ladies WE would have longer handles so it is EASY to carry over the shoulder. It is a massive bag so you would think it would be a PITA to use as a handbag. Just IMO I mean.....bigger bag, but less handle drop? Sometimes I gotta wonder what they are thinking at Bal.
