Long-term I think I would like a pearl strand. I need to spend more time exploring and trying things on to better understand what I want (pearl size, type, color, strand length). I really love sparkly things so it’ll be a while before I dedicate any budget to a pearl strand, which is good because that gives me more time to explore!
In the near term (next 1-2 years) I’d love to add:
- VCA sweet Alhambra white gold pave 6 motif bracelet
- Canturi Regina double link ring in white gold with black sapphires
- Garrard mini icons Tudor Rose ring in white gold (my husband also liked this one when we saw it in person over the summer, so maybe he will gift it to me
)
The Canturi is the only one I haven’t tried on. I’ve debated going to Aus with my husband on one of his business trips, but my airfare would probably be close to the cost of the ring, so I think it would make more sense to just have him pick it up for me
I looove diamonds and I want a statement, geometric diamond ring so I am sure I’ll love the Regina double link.

I don't know where the thief is going to get a fair price for it though, I had to buy it from overseas because none of the jewelry stores here trade in this sort of stuff.
They'd likely just pawn it for 10% of what I paid for it, if any of the pawnshops here accept platinum (most only accept gold).

How awful I'm sorry. Can you ask the local pawn shops to keep an eye out if you explain it was stolen from you?

I went around to the area with the most pawn shops to ask them the other day, all said that they don't even accept platinum.
I've made a police report... was struggling on whether I should do it for a while, because the person whom I suspect took it might lose their job & work permit if convicted, but I just gave the police whatever information I have and let them see if they can find anything.
Trying to make peace with it.

Okies! i am doing a wishlist update. it seems for the first time in my life i am sticking to this? hahaha ! No particular order:
- cartier tank francaise in yellow gold. i tried it on and yes drool thankyou.
- cartier thin love bracelet in pave diamonds. another drool on my chin.
- cartier just un clou necklace with the little bit of diamonds. yum yum.
- a VCA piece. not sure which. still researching haha.
- a tiffany tanzanite. ring photo attached, but really not sure if a pendant or earrings would be better.
- emerald cut diamond ring. not sure which yet and where from. i wanted emerald cut diamond studs but all the jewellers said no (something about the hairs on your ears stick to them making the diamonds look included? not sure why this wouldnt happen with aring?).
