Does anyone know the significance of the turquoise necklace to the left of the Native American jewelry pic and what it represents if anything? I'm curious to know if the coral turquoise shapes are natural or are hand carved.

Not sure of the answer to the question about the turquoise but the coral appears to be polished and left in as near a natural shape as possible for the settings. You see a lot of NA jewelry where the coral has been shaped/cut into smaller pieces but this hasn't; that may be why it look a little odd, it's not uniform. That coral ring is too big for me but it would be something else to wear, what workmanship!

Whoa the lungs necklace!! Seriously if someone gave me that I would be scared. Maybe I can get one for my sister-in-law for xmas :graucho: LOL.

Not that I'd want either but I could see a market for two different things here: jewelry with Barbie doll heads and maybe jewelry with lungs if an M.D., nurse or respiratory therapist is totally into egghead jewelry. I mean, I'm a molecular biologist and have a pair of gold DNA helix earrings somewhere. What gives ME the creeps is wondering what sort of demented mind envisioned a pair of lungs with parts of Barbie doll faces inhaled into them!

I'm not entirely sure, but the red necklace on the right has naturally shaped coral and the turquoise on the left looks more modern, so I don't know the meaning. I do, however, know that most pieces do carry significant meaning in the design and all tribes have designs specifically for their own.
