I've received some lovely recommendations for a new wallet already, but thought this would be a fun thread and give me more inspiration! If you prefer, just share a pic and a short review.

WALLET THREAD:

1. Brand and model
2. Price
3. Design and looks
4. Quality
5. Overall rating (points out of 10).
6. Do you have your eye on another model for your next wallet? If so, which one?

I'll go first:

1. Mulberry blossom small wallet in fiery spritz (orange/red).
2. Cost about 140 GBP (british pounds) in the Mulberry sale
3. 9/10. First small wallet I've had, and it feels great in my hand, has enough room for everything I need (if I use a separate card case). I love that the coins are easy to access from the outside, without needing to open the notes part. Also love the feel of the leather and the colour.
4. Lovely when new, but I've only had it since January and it's looking very tatty! Very disappointed in the leather type (too delicate for me).
5. Considering it's looking so old so quickly, 3/10 (despite loving the design).
6. YES. Recommendations welcome.

Sadly, mulberry is dead to me.
After recent style/leather/quality changes. #getcocaout

But "every bag MUST have matching wallet" is my diseased mantra.

On way, to match latest bag:

Remainsilly, what a fabulous review! Love the comments and "animations"

I'll look into this design, but was so disappointed by my mulberry... I agree older mulberry leathers were better.

Why is the outside zip not good for coins?

Thanks:smile:

Outer pocket has 1 side gusset--
does not expand enough for frantic coin rummage in checkout lines.

Easier to find specific coins inside larger, inner zipped pocket, imo.

I have an Hermes dogon wallet. I like the wallet because credit cards & money can't be seen ( from the outside) & also because
it doesn't look like a typical wallet. It also can hold checkbook
For change there is a separate little coin purse that I use.

I don't technically use a wallet since I carry very little and rarely carry cash. Instead I rotate between various versions of card holders, so hopefully this helps those who don't need a full sized wallet. Today I am carrying my Chanel Zippy Coin Purse.

1. Brand and model: Chanel Zippy Coin Purse in navy, chevron print, caviar finish
2. Price: $475 USD (380 euro)
3. Design and looks: It looks quite sharp and I love the compact design. Three separate card slots that hold quite a bit (more space than I usually need for my essentials, actually). Although I rarely carry coins (and when I do, I keep them with my keys in my LV Key Cles), coins placed in the center slot can be easily accessed by reaching in or tipping over (cards remain in place).
4. Quality: Great quality. Zips smoothly and has held up perfectly for nearly a year (although I do rotate out regularly, so it is not an every day piece). The caviar finish makes it particularly carefree.
5. Overall rating: 9 out of 10 points. It's pretty much perfect for me, but loses a point simply for the price. Cons for others might be that it is too small for anyone who carries a lot and, for those who carry cash, bills need to be folded. Also, I actually use my flat cardholders more frequently than this model simply because they take up even less space in my bags and still hold my essentials.
6. Do you have your eye on another model for your next wallet? If so, which one?: I am not currently in the market for another since I have several varieties of cardholders that I rotate between and am happy with my collection.

1. Brand and model - Louis Vuitton Pochette Cles Empreinte in Poppy
2. Price - Bought preloved for less than 200€
3. Design and looks - Simple, straightforward, roomy. Versatile and compact enough to fit in my jeans pocket and any bag.
4. Quality - LV. What else is there to say? I'm the 3rd owner and she's showing no signs or wear&tear.
5. Overall rating (points out of 10). - 9,5. Fits 2 large keys, 6 cards and cash with ease and no bulging. I don't know how I will get around to switching wallets because I'm so in love with this one!
6. Do you have your eye on another model for your next wallet? If so, which one? - Not in need of a wallet. Have so many old ones to use! I do like look of Chanel quilted wallets but not about to buy any SLG for a long time.

Since the title highlights WALLET, I'll not mention my cardholders. I have 3 wallets: 1 Loewe (my fav)and 2 Mulberry( 1 zippy tree continental and 1 tree french wallet)
Currently using:
1. Brand and model : Loewe french wallet
2. Price : SGD 590 (bought in 2007)
3. Design and looks: Simple design with embossed Loewe emblem. The seperate coin compartment provides easy access to coins.
4. Quality : Superb quality. The leather is indestructible. No scratches after 10 years.
5. Overall rating (points out of 10) : 9.5/10
6. Do you have your eye on another model for your next wallet? If so, which one? : Not looking for another wallet at the moment. I think 3 is enough for me.

Does this also fit coins? Can we please have a peek inside? Thanks for your review :)

Stunning. One day I hope to have such a lovely little piece of Chanel :)

There's a zippered pocket at the backside. I keep my coins and folded bills in there. It also fits cards! I think video reviews are the best way to see everything there is to this little Tardis - if you do a Youtube search using the words "Vuitton empreinte cles review" you'll find a whole heap of useful videos. That's how I do alot of my research.

1. Brand- Louis Vuitton Jeanne wallet
2.Price- $ 565 ( I think)
3.Full size canvas wallet with removable zippered pouch and card case
4. Quality- Great, I have used it everyday with no issues since purchasing last Sept/ Oct
5. Overall rating - 8/10. I scored it as an 8 only because I usually prefer zippy style wallets and this one has a front button closure
6. Do you have your eye on another model for your next wallet? If so, which one? I'm not in the market now but my next wallet will probably be a monogram LV Clemence
