Hello!
I just bought this ring,
S1, colour H, cut good.
the diamond is 0.36 ct.
What irritates me is the reflection of the table, it is reflective like glass.
(2nd pic) Do you ever notice this on your stone(s)?
Also according to the angle I look at it, there are "darker parts". Reading up and down through this forum, I found many stones showing similar darker parts. Not inclusions, but sort of darker parts. I wished it would sparkle more. First I was not sure if they were due to the setting (sort of cathedral setting).
Now I think it is probably due to the cut. the goldsmith only offers good cuts (he buys in antwerpen and does not sell anything above H/S1/good cut).
But the reflective table is even more ... disturbing to me.
Please be honest and tell me what you think! Does this look like a nice stone to you or is there something wrong with the (good) cut?
You can tell I am a bit nervous and tense, not knowing what to expect ... next time I buy the stone at bluenile, as long as I can't afford rings at tiffany's, that's for sure!
TYIA!
PS: you can tell ...I really worked hard on taking the best pics possible!
