What To Do with Diamond with Yellow Hue

These are all great ideas, I'll have to ask my friend about a yellow-gold basket and white halo, that sounds awesome. I have so wanted to get a halo ring, and this would be great. Should I do the cushion-looking halos, they are soooooooo pretty.

As for my preference, I guess I am very color sensitive, but to be frank, I am not on the other factors. Funnily, this same friend of mine who is a jeweler, to whom I am going to be taking the ring to verify the color, had bought herself (and since sold) I believe an I or J, but with blue florescence, that it looked stunning, the stone was not yellow at all, because of the blue in it. Anyhoo, I can't wait to see what my options are. Thanks again, and would love to see some pictures if anyone has any of the yellow-gold baskets with halos.

I think there is a thread concerning lower colored diamonds...K/L/M. If it's that yellow must be a lower color.
Erica D (?) worked with lower colored stones and her designs were stunning.
Yup...a YG basket/band with a white diamond halo would be stunning!

Skyqueen, any photos of YG baskets with white-diamond halos, or Erica D's work? TIA!

Hi,

I inherited a diamond ring which I think is an H or I in color, and it is set with yellow gold. What should I do when I reset it, as it is a cathedral setting, and too high and big for my smaller hands, so that the yellow color of the diamond does not show as much?

Or, should I just keep it with the yellow gold theme, but in matte gold and yellow paves in a cushion halo?

It is a round diamond. TIA!

An H or an I is not yellow!!! I have a J and I don't see any color at all.
