Is Tiffany's customer service really a lot better than the rest?
I now look for the complete package, not just at the point of sale.

Is the stuff under warrenty, how is the CS? TY

Hi Girlie!

Yes, in my opinion Tiffany's has been a lot better than any other brand I have dealt with by far! I will tell you that finding the right SA has a lot to do with it and also if they know you are a good customer they will do what ever they can to keep you happy. The items don't have to be on any type of special warranty for them to make it right. By the way, I got a letter from them that we had become a part of the Tiffany preferred/registered customer list which means if you spend $10,000 or over per year you become a part of it and you will get all sorts of perks! I also love that they can fix or remake something from scratch in NY and not have to send it off shore where it can take 4-6 months!!! All in all we have no complaints, whatsoever!

I have been very happy with their service. I get free cleaning and diamond inspection on all my platinum pieces and free polishing for life. I took one of my pendants in for repair (damaged done by me) and the repair cost was very reasonable. I travel 5 to 8 times a year and love the fact that there is at least one Tiffany in every major city around the world. I can walk into anyone of them and get my jewelry cleaned.

I love Harry Winston but is not keen on the fact that there is no Harry Winston boutique near me who can provide me with after sales service.

Thanks!

That is awesome! you are a great client! Your jewelry collection is amazing.
I would LOVE to see pics of everything. WE need a jewelry collection thread. Like the bag collections. :)
I am planning a Tiffany's piece!

Here's mine. I received this med heart locket 2 years ago for Christmas. I wear it every day. Haven't had the chance to get it clean, but still shine. Love this chain just had to add 6 inches to it.

As of now I have an: 18k ygTiffany Atlas Bangle, 18k Tiffany heart key large size, 18k Tiffany 5 hearts charm necklace, 18k Return toTiffany single heart charm necklace!

I would like another key w/diamonds, an Initial A charm, & maybe even another 18k wg Atlas piece! But that's on the end of my long list of other wants since I already have one in YG!:)

I wanna play!!! Its no secret that I adore Tiffany & Co :D

As of today I own:

Two diamond & white gold Metro bands I wear with my Soleste

Diamond & 18k white gold Filigree Heart with mini diamond key attached to it

Diamond & platinum traditional shared prong cross in large size

Platinum & diamond shared prong heart with attached necklace in small size

Platinum & diamond Fleur de Lis key

18k rose gold charm link bracelet

Platinum & diamond Scottie dog charm

Platinum & diamond mini heart charm

18K Rose gold Return to Tiffany heart tag charm with diamond border (the one that is $1,100) I love this charm!!!

18k rose gold/white gold & diamond LOVE charm

Rubedo padlock charm (I wear on my charm bracelet)

18k rose gold mini heart key (I wear on my charm bracelet)

Platinum & diamond Bow ring

18k rose gold return to Tiffany heart with mother-of-pearl heart and chain (just got this on Monday & its so beautiful, I wanted it for layering) that is a 16in which my SA had extended to a 20in free of charge & engraved the back of the gold heart for free!

18k white gold oval link chain in 24 inches

I'm pretty sure I've posted pics of all of these things on this forum except for the newest rose gold necklace with 2 hearts but I'll try and get some on this thread soon! By the way, I have never had any problems with any of my T&Co goodies but when I have wanted things altered my SA has always gone above and beyond to accommodate me which I have not really experienced so much when dealing with other brands. This is why I'm loyal to the brand and as long as they keep coming out with gorgeous designs I will always choose them over any other, I don't feel horrible and guilty buying the diamond pieces from them when compared to other brands. I wear all of my pieces on and off, the only ones I wear daily are my ering and bands.
Congratulations on your amazing collection! I just bought the diamond filigree heart and I keep wondering if it's something I will wear a lot or just for special occasions, and whether to keep it. How often do you wear yours? Thanks!

I have the Tiffany 1837 bar pendant (size small) in 18k yellow gold. I thought it was actually pretty reasonably priced for T&Co. Haven't had it too long yet, but I love it so far! The color of the gold is so rich and pretty.

I'll play. :)

Faintlymacabre: I've been wanting that key so badly! I'm so jealous of you right now haha

I hope to contribute with some pictures soon, but for now I was just wondering, what kinds of benefits do preferred Tiffany's clients have? If you don't mind my asking.

i think it all depends where u r and who u deal with. my tiffany CS is not better than cartier. but then i only own 1 peace of cartier so far (2 with todays preloved love ring purchase) and many from tiffany, so i've had to deal with tiffany CS a lot more and i dont find it acceptable at all. :-( i do think they r sick and tired of people walking it and wasting their time (more when compared with cartier), but in no way in my opinion it should allow them to treat people badly. also being in AU the story could be slightly diff to US or other countries. we only have 2 tiffany and 1 cartier store in melbourne, so pretty much stuck with them. in US the choices r soo much wider and u could easily change your SA. in terms of CS - cartier here charged me $20 to replace silk band on my trinity bracelet and tiffany charged me $100 to extend my platinum chain while I've heard from others in US, both r done for free. i understand charge for extension as more platinum has to be used.. but how do they do it for free in US? and why does cartier advertise silk replacement for life? bits me. :-)
