And how have they held up over the years?

I know after going through the collection thread that more than the majority buy mainly silver pieces, but for those who prefer or also buy the finer jewelry from tiffanys, which do have in your possession and how much do you find yourself wearing those pieces?
please include pics!

I'll play, although I don't really have any pictures to offer right now.

I've been wearing diamond platinum studs and a five diamond platinum DBTY necklace for the last 5 years, daily. They are holding up well. I only take those off for facials () and MRIs.

My Jazz band ring is my newest purchase and it's doing well for being two-months-old. :lolots:

I have an older diamond platinum necklace (it kind of looks like the Swing Flower, but that's not it exactly) that I wore before that - the clasp did break on that necklace. When I bought the DBTY, the SA pointed out the clasp was broken on the necklace as I tried on the new one. To be honest, I have no idea how long it had been broken.

In terms of finer jewelry versus the silver - I've had more issues with the silver, just in terms of necklaces or clasps breaking. The customer service has always been outstanding, not matter what piece though!

i have a classic solitaire, platinum etoile band, platinum channel set band, platinum and diamond key and platinum dbty solitaire necklace, all have held up well

Wearing daily now: Plat/diamond elsa peretti ring (as toe ring) and plat/diam pave heart pendant (been wearing this daily for 15 years). Used to wear a diamond solitaire and circular channel diamond riing (plat) daily as well. Also have plat/diamond earrings someplace...can't find them right now (another reason to wear your jewelry all the time).

I agree that customer service is excellent, no matter what you are buying/wearing/having cleaned. I must say they didn't bat an eye when I bought the ring for my toe (they wouldn't cut down my circular band). The guy just smiled. :)

Hey! I have a platinum solitaire e-ring and half-eternity diamond band and have had absolutely no issues with them - love them!

I wear a .42 DBTY yellow gold necklace daily right now and it's held up wonderfully even with the thin (but strong) gold chain. :)

I own quite a few other things!!

Two diamond bracelets (Victoria and Swing - FYI the "swing" is gorgeous but not for every day... it's hard to explain but the hinges where the sections join CAN be bent out of whack if you're not gentle with it.)

Interlocking rings long 32 inch necklace (the 1837 one) - looks like new after lots of wear.

Large gold open heart peretti neckalce (wearing beautifully!) and chain...

Platinum diamond cross...

All doing great!! Highly recommend Tiffany's and their service!!

Those all sound lovely! Especially hearing about all of the Cartier malfunctions lately, it seems like Tiffany is a good go to for fine diamond jewelry without buying a hummer's price in VCA for a small diamond pendant.

I own four pieces from Tiffany's and all are gold, no silver (don't wear silver anymore). I have:

A diamond key charm in yellow gold on a 24" chain - considering getting a larger key too and layering it on a 30" chain with the charm. I wear this virtually everyday when I'm not wearing my diamond pendant - love it!

A .08 DBTY necklace in yellow gold on a 18" chain - I didn't want to go bigger as I already have a larger diamond pendant for everyday use (non Tiff). I wear the DBTY on days when I want a subtle bit of sparkle and it is also great for layering (I wear it most often with the key charm on the long chain). I haven't worn it as much as I thought I would though and in hindsight probably shouldn't have bought it based on this, especially as you can get much bigger diamonds at a lower price point from other brands like Blue Nile etc.

An open heart bracelet in yellow gold - in hindsight I think this was a bit of a mistake and I'm thinking about selling it. It is a beautiful bracelet but maybe a little 'young' for me (I'm 32). I've only worn it maybe twice since I bought it. If I don't sell it I'm thinking about giving it to my little sister in a couple of years (she's currently nine!)!

A 1837 ring (wide version) in yellow gold - wear this almost daily and it goes with everything and never fails to get compliments!

All my pieces have held up beautifully (although haven't had any for more than a year) and I actually think gold from Tiffany's is quite reasonably priced for higher-end jewellery. I love Cartier but just can't bring myself to pay their prices although I do love my Trinity ring :smile1:

Next on my hitlist from Tiffany's are the mini gold bean pendant on an 18" chain and an interlocking circles necklace in gold.

I two own a DBTY bracelet. An old one in ruby with platinum and another with sapphire and gold. Although the platinum one has held up very well. I have had to have the sapphire and gold bracelet repaired at least 3 times. I wear it every day and the clasp broke three times.once a week after repair and another time an hour after the repair. The sales people were very nice. They couldn't believe that I had just picked up the bracelet and thankfully was still in the mall because it broke less than an hour later. The latest now is that one of the sapphires fell out and they want me to pay $200 for this tiny piece. I love this bracelet but getting sick of all this.

I have three nonsilver Tiffany's pieces :D

I have the 18k rose gold Return To Tiffany's earrings. I wear them almost every day, but they get dirty easily so I clean them after every use.

I also have the .14 platinum DBTY solitaire necklace, and it's held up well EXCEPT one time the soddering on the clasp became black, but Tiffany was very helpful and fixed it; they informed me that the soddering is not 100% platinum and since I would wear the necklace 24/7 it must have reacted with hair products, etc.

My newest piece is the platinum diamond bow ring and I LOVE it! It's so pretty and sparkly and I get so many compliments.

Overall, if you like simple, clean, pretty designs, Tiffany's is a great place for finer jewelry.

I have a .05 yellow gold DBTY necklace that hubs got me for our first anniversary and a .08 platinum DBTY bracelet that I bought when the SLC store opened earlier this year. I adore them because they add just enough glitter to my outfits and are perfect for summer because they're so dainty.

The bracelet gets daily wear and still looks sparkly even after my super cute DD slobers all over it. :tender: I find myself wearing the necklace less now that she's teething and in that everything-belongs-in-my-mouth stage. I haven't ever felt like the chains on either would break but I don't want to push it.

I wanna play!!! Its no secret that I adore Tiffany & Co :D

As of today I own:

Soleste platinum & white diamond cushion cut ering

Two diamond & white gold Metro bands I wear with my Soleste

Diamond & 18k white gold Filigree Heart with mini diamond key attached to it

Diamond & platinum traditional shared prong cross in large size

Platinum & diamond shared prong heart with attached necklace in small size

Platinum & diamond Fleur de Lis key

18k rose gold charm link bracelet

Platinum & diamond Scottie dog charm

Platinum & diamond mini heart charm

18K Rose gold Return to Tiffany heart tag charm with diamond border (the one that is $1,100) I love this charm!!!

18k rose gold/white gold & diamond LOVE charm

Rubedo padlock charm (I wear on my charm bracelet)

18k rose gold mini heart key (I wear on my charm bracelet)

Platinum & diamond Bow ring

18k rose gold return to Tiffany heart with mother-of-pearl heart and chain (just got this on Monday & its so beautiful, I wanted it for layering) that is a 16in which my SA had extended to a 20in free of charge & engraved the back of the gold heart for free!

18k white gold oval link chain in 24 inches

I'm pretty sure I've posted pics of all of these things on this forum except for the newest rose gold necklace with 2 hearts but I'll try and get some on this thread soon! By the way, I have never had any problems with any of my T&Co goodies but when I have wanted things altered my SA has always gone above and beyond to accommodate me which I have not really experienced so much when dealing with other brands. This is why I'm loyal to the brand and as long as they keep coming out with gorgeous designs I will always choose them over any other, I don't feel horrible and guilty buying the diamond pieces from them when compared to other brands. I wear all of my pieces on and off, the only ones I wear daily are my ering and bands.

I have a pair of gold and a pair of pearl earrings. The rest (11 of them) are diamonds set in platinum. I wear my platinum pieces a lot: my ering and wedding band daily and all my pieces are holding up very well. To me, Tiffany's diamond pieces are worth the investment.

Is Tiffany's customer service really a lot better than the rest?
I now look for the complete package, not just at the point of sale.

Is the stuff under warrenty, how is the CS? TY

I have been very happy with their service. I get free cleaning and diamond inspection on all my platinum pieces and free polishing for life. I took one of my pendants in for repair (damaged done by me) and the repair cost was very reasonable. I travel 5 to 8 times a year and love the fact that there is at least one Tiffany in every major city around the world. I can walk into anyone of them and get my jewelry cleaned.

I love Harry Winston but is not keen on the fact that there is no Harry Winston boutique near me who can provide me with after sales service.
