It's a lovely, rich blue! I think it's more interesting than the red (which also looks good). I feel like it's easier to find a good red-hued bag than a good blue one.

As of now, both bags are still with me. It's hard to let go. I just love the craftmanship of Tod's bag. No faulty stitches until now, the hardware's still shiny & the leather is just great!!! The thin shoulder handle is so comfortable & durable too!!!

that's a nice subtle red
I had a true red Tods bag that was beautiful but I sold it. I just didn't find I wanted to carry a red bag that often. Once in a while when I see a red bag I like I remind myself of that.
But your bag almost looks kind of plum - more more neutral
