Does anyone have the soho disco? Wondering how that compares to the puzzle? Both seem easy/carefree and casual and potentially good for travel when one day we can travel again!
I dont have the Loewe puzzle bag but I have a boy old medium and gucci soho disco. I'd say the soho disco is more carefree. I think it's because it's <$1000 where as the OM boy was significantly more. I love both. I got the soho so I can throw it on and not really care if it gets beat up when I'm with my two small boys (2 and 4 yo).
The boy is so structured that id be concerned of my boys smashing into it and making it lose it's structure.
Both dont have metal feet so you have to becareful about the corners.
For travels, i was the silly passenger who carried a dust bag or nylon tote and put my old medium boy bag in it when I had to put it under the seat in front of me so it wouldn't touch the airplane carpet/floor! Hahah. If you're traveling without kids, I'd say both are fine to travel with.
One thing to add, I do get annoyed sometimes with the zipper on the soho. The boy is easier to open and close. However, the strap is easier on the soho where as the boy strap does move around alot but I dont care so much about this. I know some people have found it annoying on the boy.

Thank you so much for your input! I don't have kids (yet) but we're planning on that so I definitely like knowing how each work out with children. I did find a pre loved puzzle in black for about the same price as a new disco soho so that's why I'm debating between those two. The Chanel boy is just gorgeous though so that may get priotized first and followed hopefully soon after by one of the others as I do really want something that's sort of easy to toss around and not worry as much due to price

I used to own the soho disco but sold it. It’s a common bag where I live and I saw a lot of teenagers/ young adults carrying the bag around which kind of turned me off. Both the soho disco and puzzle are carefree, casual and great for travel, but the soho disco loses shape over time and I just don’t like that overly worn look. I like that the small puzzle has a top handle and the smooth leather is so durable. This bag is so comfy to wear and looks great worn crossbody, over the shoulder and handheld. I also prefer the understatedness of this brand. There’s a big price difference but the puzzle is worth it IMO. It has that effortlessly chic look and it’s more sophisticated than the soho disco ( just my opinion)

Thank you!! All good points!

Hello! I have been lucky enough to recently get a Chanel reissue 227 in black ghw and a Chanel classic flap medium in black with ghw. I am looking to get a third purse to add to my collection and want something that is not black. I am looking at two very different purses but basically just wanting something I can wear crossbody . The Loewe puzzle in small tan and the Chanel boy small in navy with rhw are the two I have narrowed down just based on the styles out there I like right now so yes know they are different with different purposes, Just wanting to know from the community style wise which you like! thanks!
I own a boy, and love it! I do, however, worry about the corners when I’m out and about; but it’s generally a great casual option. I use mine frequently! That said, you already have two great colored Chanel bags in your collection and the puzzle bag is gorgeous and, in my opinion, a versatile and more carefree day bag. Both are great options!

I love Chanel more, let’s start with that. But as someone that has owned both of these bags I vote the puzzle. It is far more practical, care free, chic, contemporary, different - everything that the boy does but better. It is my most used bag of 2020. The top handle is the best too.
Yes...I agree. Chanel has my heart but Loewe is the most used bag in my collection especially when I’m with my toddlers! I love my boy but I find it heavy and cumbersome at times where as the puzzle is so comfy and easy to carry.
