I use it as a bag to carry to work. I don't carry a lot, so it holds everything I need it to. It comes with two straps: long for crossbody wear, and shorter for shoulder carry. I set the crossbody strap to the length I like, and haven't changed it.

I purchased my first Polene, a second-hand black textured leather nano, and it arrived a couple days ago. The bag seems perfect but some bells started to go off when I took a closer look at the hardware. The fasteners on the shoulder strap are not branded and neither is the magnetic clasp. I've posted photos for reference (mine is black). I told this to the seller and she says she purchased it June 2020 when they were $260 and free shipping. She says it's possible that they were not branding those bits of hardware at the time.

Everything else about it looks and feels authentic.

Can anyone give any insight on this?

Hi! New to handbags and purseforum. I expanded my collection by buying a lot of Polene bags and I've just started using them. Polene Neuf was a surprisingly great bag to use while traveling on an airplane and through an airport. Using a Polene Huit now, which also holds a surprising amount. I stuffed my phone, wallet, and two water bottles in and the shape still stayed the same.

I got it in black as well because I tend to wear black and I was hoping black handbags can be dressed up more, so I can use it for more occasions. That's my justification for all my other black handbags anyway. What color do you prefer?

I LOVE the size - in my opinion this is a perfect medium size. It *is* the smaller Cyme, fyi.

Oh, I did not know that there were two sizes of the Cyme! Have to recheck the webpage. Thank you for mentioning. The shape of the Cyme is so beautiful!

ETA: The mini size looks like a really great medium size!
