Ditto. I live in the Midwest and I see a ton of a LV. I have zero idea if what I am seeing is real or fake. I’m not educated enough to be able to spot the differences at a glance. Plus, I don’t really care. I know several of our department stores have “what goes around” sections with things like LV, Gucci, and sometimes Prada. It’s ridiculously overpriced, but I suspect it wouldn’t be in the store if there wasn’t some sort of demand for that type of thing.

I’m in NYC where we have both very rich and very poor people. Both groups of people carry real and both carry fakes. We have low income people that will spend their last for fashion and well off people on who are super cheap. We have all the flagship Lux stores on 5th avenue but we also have street vendors with fakes on every corner and Canal Street in China Town, Fake Capital of the country. With that said, I assume that at least 1/2 of the bags I see on a daily basis are Fake.

I think a good portion of the well known bags are fakes. Like Chanel classic flap, LV alma etc. The lesser known or less popular styles from premier designers that I see, I assume they are real because they aren't everywhere you look. So basically some styles I look at with suspicion any time I see one. And the lesser known bags catch my eye because those are the ones I seem to be attracted to more for exactly this reason.
