What others "see in your bean"

Probably because beans are seeds. :smile1:
but there's lots of seeds, why is the bean specifically a 'symbol of origin'? I don't get the meaning at all, but it's a cute shape, much like a bumblebee or shoes. just not for me; it isn't special enough, nor is it particularly pretty imho. BUT I can totally understand other people feeling a deeper connection to the piece, or just finding it "classic tiffany".

Because other seeds are too similar in shape to tear drops! :happydance:
 
I work with elementary/middle school students and several of them have independently asked me about my "jellybean necklace". One fourth grader specifically said, "you have a jellybean on your necklace! A perfectly shaped jellybean!" Kids are precious. :)
