I’ve always loved the favorite but never took the plunge because of the magnetic flap closure. It never seemed secure enough for me, especially when traveling. But since getting the PA in DA, I added a chain just like the favorite and a crossbody vachetta strap, I’ve got the best of both worlds... but I still hover over the place in cart button whenever I see it pop up.

The reasons you stated about the Favorite is why I sold mine. It was NOT my Favorite and needed to be re-homed.

I bet you will love it! Congrats! ! I got mine in June and ran around all day yesterday doing errands with it, including a pedicure. The PA was perfect, could just put in my lap and not worry about salon spill (a friend had a nice bag ruined at a salon, always careful or carrying something small). It carries everything I need. Excited you got it! Now the next thing is being home when UPS arrives :P

Thanks, I have the DE, my first LV, and love it. I wear it all the time so want to be able to swap them out. Was luck enough to snag a DA as well a couple weeks ago so now all set. Thankfully I have a store close to me so I have it shipped there just in case. That way I can open it up there and if any issues they see it first hand too.

Thank you for this. I’ve always regretted not taking the plunge because the favorite was just sooooo pretty. But knowing that someone else felt the same, and actually experienced the same concerns I had reassures me that I should not have any FOMO

I had the multicartes and sold it. I hate having to fold up my money. My favorite wallet is a Kate Spade that folds in half and buttons together with zippered compartments for coins and when unfolded a full slot for money. It’s comoact because it folds in half though. I got it at an outlet store.

IMO, it’s a horrible design and problematic like the canvas Métis. I bought it when it was first released and it only came in Mono. I had one incident where all of my items came out of the bag and were on the ground while at a concert. After that, it had to go. When it was first released, I think I paid $700 for the MM. I have no regrets of selling it.

I can totally see that happening. The magnet was not strong enough, and my fears were 1. Everything falling out like what happened to you and 2. pickpockets while on vacation...pretty bag, just not secure enough for my use.

If they made this bag (same size) but with a zippered closure and a longer adjustable strap then it would be a top bag for me. Oh, a girl can dream!
