What is a "personal shopper" ? Why do you have it in quotes? I really am asking a question.

I know you’re being genuine and not sarcastic. :)
Certain people on Instagram who claim to be personal shoppers. They are resellers of new, hard to find items. They are making a profit on being able to get their hands on hard to find items. Frustrating for the rest of us who really just want a brand new item straight from LV.

I thought about this for a bit. Without understanding the big picture. I really see the CAs that these "personal shoppers" are working with more reprehensible. A "personal shopper" who stalks, spends time making connections with CAs, is constantly looking for the hottest item, I see that time spent as being worth a fee.

HOWEVER the CA who is holding back inventory for this personal shopper, giving them inside info that they are only privy to through their job with Louis Vuitton. Well in some industries that is a crime. They are hurting their company. How many of us have gotten tired of stalking and the lack of inventory? How many have moved on to another brand? When a CA is knowingly selling to someone who is reselling they are hurting their own company. Destroying the client/company relationship and profiting off that. Either by their own commissions or gifts that the personal shopper might be thanking the CA with.
