You posted this bag in the authenticate this LV thread. Why do you think it’s fake if you bought directly from LV??? The date code location list here probably hasn’t been updated with that code. Is that why you think it’s not authentic???

I wish they’d made it in the other canvas prints or empreinte leather but if I’m not mistaken this has been discontinued; that being said info always differs depending on the source.
I’m getting the Felicie inserts since they’re so compact and allow me to keep cash inside without folding bills plus they’ll go perfectly inside my Favorite MMs! They also fit inside the PA and Neverfull pouches without taking up much room at all [emoji6]

It's the date code. I'd expect LV to keep up with changing their date codes... years ago there were only a few letter combos and now there are so many. I think some posts on this forum have generated unfounded fear in others - basing authenticity on a date code being one of them.

I know it’s the date code. There is a list here with factory codes but I don’t think it’s been updates for awhile and I think that is what some members go by, she bought it directly from LV and then posted in the authentication thread. It may just be a new factory code.

Hey! Sorry about the misinformation...it's only on one side! Based on the pics on LV's site it looked like it was on both sides but I just now saw a live version and turns out it's only on one side...so yay!!!

I'd expect any style of LV bag can be made anywhere LV in general is made. Mine is made in Italy (so is hers)

Does anyone here know or have an idea of who or what actually stocks items on the website? Is it an actual person pressing a button or is it some kind of built in algorithm? I’ve been stalking all day and it just does not pop up. I’m at my wits end

I know it’s frustrating! In a company as large as LV, I’m sure it’s a complicated computerized inventory system, DK when it gets scanned into the system (human has to probably) after getting made (when arrives in some US warehouse, or elsewhere?) at which time it should show as place in cart ready to go out unless some else clicks place in cart and checks out. At that point it likely shows in the system at LV as “committed” and unavailable for anyone else to purchase. I know CS told me they can see items in stores but they can’t sell that inventory, someone would have to call you from there. I know it can seem like some complicated algorithm designed to frustrate us all, but I’m betting it’s a pretty standard inventory control process. Doesn’t mean it’s easy to get things we want and love! And many of us suspect “limited availability” may partly be a marketing tactic to drive demand. Like any company they probably underestimate demand for some things and overestimate for others. There are so many call for availability items that pop up one or two at a time, so it’s maddening and makes people want it more - human nature being what it is.

I would also guess as it’s a holiday weekend that not much is happening behind the scenes at LV, at least in US.

Hang in there, I bet you will find it soon.

Yes, you are right. I am overthinking as if LV has a conspiracy to outsmart us all and make us desperate for their OOS items so as to keep us at mercy of refresh button lol I will keep trying this week. Thanks dear
