I like this thread! What a great idea you had.
I think my Spirit bag would have to be the Proenza Schouler PS1 Medium in the color black with gunmetal hardware.
I've always loved how it's super functional with all the pockets and the flap, but at the same time it isn't just a messenger bag, it's really beautiful and quite elegant and sort of... understated? Basically, that's how I like to think of myself. As much elegance and style as possible without sacrificing even a tiny bit of comfort.

I guess mine would be the Mansur Gavriel cloud clutch in black/flamma. (Would say black/purple, but they don't make that option.
)Not huge, but easily big enough to be useful. The cloud shape adding a bit of whimsy. Not a brand everyone knows (Chanel LV etc), but appreciated by those who do. The black exterior and bright interior give it the element of 'what you see is what you get - it's just not everything'; only a few get to see inside. It's adaptable - black goes with everything; being a clutch it can be worn on an evening out or to church, but it's also casual enough to use for a Saturday brunch and hanging out with friends. It's also accessible price wise = approachable and friendly as a person.
My Spirit Bag is a structured, medium size bag with a top handle and detachable long strap, like the Massaccesi below—-classic; sturdy enough to stand on its own even when empty; sometimes formal with top handle carry; and, sometimes more casual with long strap carry.

I haven't seen many bags by this brand apart from the bucket bag, but I have to say, I like the Cloud clutch a lot. It reminded me of being wrapped in a thin and lightweight but puffy and warm blanket.

Hm...I'm thinking of this differently than my dream bag.
Thnking of my life, could be a LV Neverfull. Mostly casual but (hopefully) not sloppy, as up for wings and beer as steak and wine, not overly high-maintenance but some special care produces a better experience, prone to getting heavy if overstuffed, durable and not too delicate, and always up for travel and other adventures.

My Spirit Purse is any bag I remake/rehab/give life to for me or others. My current Spirit Purse is a red Furla Musa Tote I'm rehabbing for my boss, who had hers stolen last fall. She has no idea I found her another one, and will be so happy. It's an old enough model that there was no way I'd ever find a new one, so I am very very pleased I'm able to do this. It makes my Spirit happy to have this project, especially in these trying times.
