The way I gradually got to being comfortable carrying a small bag (particularly in the Summer I find it so convenient) was to carry my smaller bag in a larger bag for work and then run small errands on the weekend or even during the week with the small bag. I started to see how I could downsize and truthfully I don't even use a wallet a lot of times just throwing in a card holder and leaving cash loose in the bag. I find I have plenty of room and can't believe how attached I was to my "stuff". Point is it was a process. Just be mindful of what you are actually using in the course of a day and try to eliminate the other... :)

Thanks for the tips! In preparation of downsizing I bought a new smaller wallet and found I didn't really need that big of a wallet. I will start paring down my makeup bag to just the essentials and hopefully work my way to an eva :)

Yay for totally! When I was initially looking for my first lv bag I went to the store intending to buy the neverfull. But it just didn't feel right when I tried it on and I wasn't crazy about a bag without a zipper. I didn't even know about the totally until my SA brought it out for me to try as another option and it just magically clicked! Bought it right on her spot!

My most used LV bag this summer has been my DE Mini Riberia bag. The weather has been so horrible (rain rain rain) that I haven't had much of a chance to use any of my bags that are leather or use vachetta. Luckily, the DE bag has treated leather so I don't worry about a few rain droplets. I simply wipe it dry. And my most used SLG would be my six key holder in mono. I have the longer key holder that is oval shaped instead of the more common rectangular version.

My most used bag is my speedy b 25 in DE.
SLGs would be my mini pochette in mono, cles in DE and both of my zippy wallets (compact & zippy). I was a 1 wallet person until I got into LV slgs and can't make up my mine which I like more. Lol!! So now I alternate between these 2. I carry my favorite SLGs everyday.
