What is your favourite everyday bag?

This is an old photo but here's the bag I never thought would become my workhorse bag. I use this nearly all the time - it's been rained on, snowed on, it carries everything I need without me having to squish everything in. It goes from work to weekend, day to night - love it!
Right now I'm starting to learn how to downsize for everyday life. Yay!
Lately I've been carrying my mole grey Adax Copenhagen messenger/hobo bag which is just big enough to fit my Filofax Domino agenda, MK mini wallet, pill box, Ray-Ban aviators, Koss foldable headphones, keys (home&work) and a couple of lipglosses.
I've ditched my bigger wallet, other sunnies, Longchamp clutch, water bottle and makeup bag. If I go any further than work or downtown I do take a bigger bag but for now, me and my shoulders are happy with this new bag situation!

I have that Shiva, too! Bought it on a whim and it's my surprisingly most used Chanel as well. I have it in off-white.
Right now, it's a Timbuk2 backpack for everyday work. I just use my other bag for weekend. It has a terrific compartments for everything I carry to work, a separate mobile with earphone slit, a water bottle compartment, an iPad slot, and some misc slot, plus comfy shoulder straps. I'm all for functional right now.
You're the first one to recognise it as a Shiva! I'd love to see a photo of your off-white please, if you have time.
It really is the most practical bag I have. And I am constantly amazed at how much I can fit in there. Yesterday, along with my usual junk, I got my hat and a mini umbrella in there too!
For the casual lifestyle I lead, I have to say my fave everyday bag is my Hermes Picotin PM (I love this bag so much, I have it in 3 colors!) It's just such an easy bag to carry and I love the easy access and unique look. Among all of my bags, I seem to get the most compliments on the Picotin probably because of how different looking it is compared to most bags.

Bal Day (w giant hardware). Comfy, slouchy, smooshy leather, lightweight and fits quite a bit. Front pocket is perfect for holding my keys. Love that when it gets broken in, i can easily reach inside the main compartment w/o taking the bag off my shoulder. Love love love the style! ♡
Goyard GM black or Goyard PM powder blue for my child's diapers and stuff...
