what is your favorite color for a purse?

I mostly own black bags, and I find I prefer silver hardware, but do have a couple of bags, including my leather backpack, with gold hardware.
That being said, if I am wearing black pants/skirt/dress I am starting to like a pop of color. I do have a patent yellow clutch (I think it's just Nine West or something) that gets me so many compliments, especially when worn with green for some reason.
I realize I don't have a red bag, so that will probably be my next purchase.
I also really like a natural or tan leather, especially in really classic styles, like a satchel. I also no longer have anything like that. I gave away and sold all but two of my best bags when I moved from Australia back to the U.S. so I am trying to "curate" an actual collection and not just buy what catches my fancy like I did before.

Black... It's easy to deal with but royal blue is pretty close. Sadly I don't own a blue purse anymore 
Favorite is grey, any shade, followed by neon pink, although I normally pick that for my SLGs (more practical/professional).
I also find teals to be highly versatile for my wardrobe (black, grey, and pink). They're a good contrast and I don't have to worry about whether it's the same shade for my pinks and greys. It can also be worn with browns or blacks.
