What is the STAR on Hermes 2011 bags? (not the Shooting Star)

Looks like that one atelier (star) has been really busy this year all of my new O stamped has this star.

I can't see it is the stamp of one individual craftsperson due the number of bags mentioned here. If it is, this person must be working 24 hours a day, the number of bags reported with this stamp lol.

infact the one i saw is something like 'red cross' but a bit rounded in the middle

My O stamped B has this 5 pointed star also. Purchased in US.

My O year birkin has a diamond shape, and my P birkin has almost like I dog bone shape. I agree with mistikat it is just part of the craftsman's stamp.

My O stamped Kelly bought from London earlier this year has what seems like a rounded x beside the year stamp as well!

Had a vintage jige with faded year stamp and also an four pointed geometric symbol in a circle( cross or star).What does the star/cross imply? Is it sale or craftman personal use bag?

No it is not a sale or employee stamp. These are just part of the craftsman/atelier stamps and have no special significance.

I just got a 40cm birkin in the US and it is P stamped with the star. I adore stars so it was so fitting when I got home and looked under the strap and saw my fantastic surprise!

Same! I'm guessing, like Mistikat said its just the atieller - I got home and saw my new BH Evelyne had a Star Stamp - I also adore stars, so was pretty happy to have one! =D

Just got this bag from the Real Real. Everything checks out but it has an asterisk in the blind stamp. Anyone seen this ?
