What is the most beautiful Chanel piece you've ever seen?

My black mini and 2.55 mini are both from 21K collection. My black mini does feel bit dressy but I've decided I'm just going to enjoy it as much as I can... jeans, sweatpants, dress or whatever I decide to wear for that day. I'm too old to be too conscious about what others think. LOL :heart:

the black mini looks fabulous on you, I’m sure! And it goes well with casual and dressy in my opinion. I love that the bling was mostly in the Chanel logo. The mini boy Lesage I handed down to my daughter didn’t go well with my wardrobe because I’m a very casual person and the mosaic embroidery was on the whole bag, similar to the mini 2.55 you screenshot from the Chanel website. So it was a bit much lol

There have definitely been several items from Chanel over the years that I have found absolutely stunning, but here are my top three so far that if I could, I would (and have) bought in an instant:
- the purple iridescent boy bags with the rainbow oilslick hardware (2017 I think?) (there's on in decent condition on Fashionphile rn, and I'm like.... ooooooooh)
- the rich gold and turquoise tweed that came out with the 2018 Metiers d'art collection (the Egyptian collection) (have never seen this for resale before)
- the recent 2020 Metiers d'art mermaid bags (obvi, since I bought the WOC version! - also, this I think was my fastest purchase ever; I have never bought something so fast, on instinct, and without thought ever!)

Here are a few that I think are beautiful, but I probably wouldn't buy, even if I could rn:
- the rose gold caviar bags
- the pearl mini
- the black and white (and black and blue) houndstooth tweed with the Chanel ribbon woven throughout

This thread makes me so happy as I have 2 of the bags that were mentioned so far. Was deliberating to let them go sometime back as I wasn’t using them as much as my reissues. I now know I should hold on to them dearly.

Yay! And oh my my, your bags are gorgeous. That pearly beige is magnificent! Never let go hehe.

Would love to see this if you have a photo! Sounds beautiful.

I admired this in the boutique but was purchasing another flap around that time. I dislike double flaps, but somehow feel that this lovely tweed flap was the one that got away... (Photo taken from the Purseblog: https://www.purseblog.com/chanel/chanel-cruise-2017-bags-prices/)

I love the chain on that!

I tend to reach more for reissues the past few years too just because it’s more understated. I noticed what’s good with our lace flaps is that the logo blends with the rest of the bag which makes the logo/brand scream a little less than it should lol
