And good luck deciding on that and your watch or bracelet; that is such a tough choice! I’m inclined to say go with the one that’s been on your wishlist for longer, but there are so many other factors to consider, like which would you get more wear out of, which is likely to have bigger price increases in the near future, which is more readily accessible, etc. You can’t go wrong with either beautiful option! 💙

I called my parents in tears on my way to work yesterday. I hate my job. And they texted me a few hours later to “pop into Cartier” and ask for “___“ for an early Christmas surprise!

So when I go in, my client advisor tells me that I’m getting sized for the bracelet that I wanted. Because my parents did a distance sale, it has to go to the billing address-plus, it is a Christmas present after all, I didn’t think I was gonna be leaving with anything, but my client advisor came out with a bag and it had a box of chocolates. It was so cute. I’ll post photos after Christmas so excited!!! I’m glad I got sized because I didn’t realize my wrist was so small.

I am sorry that you hate your job - I’ve been there, far too many times…it is definitely how I have justified some of my splurges. One time, I got a raise and a wonderful performance review… and then immediately ran to the boutique and bought myself the small JUC (a reminder to keep going, and that I’m tough as nails). Cannot wait to see your unboxing! I’m glad that your parents were able to do this for you - a week after I bought my JUC, my parents told me to go pick up the XS D’Amour earrings I’d been lusting after (for a similar reason to yours). I hope that this little surprise brought you some much needed joy! Hang in there! May you have a wonderful Christmas and holiday break!

Oh my goodness. You two are so sweet. I really appreciate the encouragement. I dread going to work. Resignation literally crosses my mind at some point every single day.

But I’m so excited I can’t not share what it is… it is the small JUC!!!! I was debating between the yellow and white gold. I actually just got a Chanel J 12 in white with diamond markers and I almost went with the white gold because I thought they would coordinate better, but I am a yg girly through through- all my other fine jewelry is yg… so I went with the yg. I can’t wait to post photos. Do you think I can still wear a white J12 & YG JUC together?

That’s the worst feeling! The last few weeks, I started going in late - no one at my workplace cares about anything, so I decided I didn’t either (at least for the last few weeks!).

I love that you got the small JUC! It’s the best! Mine is in RG. Here is my advice: Don’t quit until you find another job (unless you absolutely have to). I cannot wait until I find something better! Until then, you wear that bracelet and remind yourself that you’re awesome and resilient! And yes, I think it will look fabulous with your J12! Can’t wait to see photos after the holidays :).

I own and love a white Chanel J12 and yes I think you can totally wear it with YG. I also wondered about this for a while if I should only pair it with white metals but I got over that.
