I think you should just be confident in your own style (it’s always easiest to carry off an outfit you feel comfortable in) and sensitive to the preferences of your daughter, remembering that she is the one who is the star of this show.

Hahaha, if your neighbors are all billionaires, then b25 is perfect! Otherwise, either they don’t know anything about it or think it’s overkillHi! My 13 y/o DD will be graduating from middle school on June 23rd (the graduation will be indoors). It's getting close. What do people usually wear to graduation as guests? I'm new to this. Which H bags will be appropriate? Any outfit ideas? Do I have to dress formal? If I take my B25, will people likely stare at me?
Honestly if your neighbors are billionaires, polar fleece and a canvas toteHahaha, if your neighbors are all billionaires, then b25 is perfect! Otherwise, either they don’t know anything about it or think it’s overkill

I don’t want $20 polar fleece and canvas toteMe! Why not?
Normally, I'd do crossbody, but I just had a major spinal surgery last month so I physically cannot do that.I would say something you can wear crossbody since you will be more comfortable hands-free. I have seen a mom wearing an LV dress plastered with logos at one of those graduations, and she was anything but self-conscious, and I loved that attitude.
Other moms that I've spoken to intend to dress up, but didn't mention anything about bags. I guess I'll just throw on a dress and choose a bag that matches the outfit. (No B25, as it's a bit too loud)It's a day to celebrate. I'd wear what you are comfortable in & if you are intending to wear
an H bag, wear the bag & not look to have it not be recognized. What's the point in that?
As a tpf'er suggested, if you are friendly with any of your dd friends mom's, maybe ask them
how they intend to dress, but this is about your daughter, so perhaps be under the radar a bit, JMO
Are you going out somewhere after the graduation for a family celebration?
I just asked my DD this. She said "I don't care what you wear, but I need a dress for graduation. I don't have any formal wear! Just wear your Kelly Danse." Alrighty then...I asked my daughter what I should wear and this is the outfit we planned together. Hermes RTW, Lululemon shirt, Van Cleef earrings and pendant, no purse.

Many of the moms in her school carry LV, Gucci, and Chanel. (Her school is 75% Chinese so it's pretty much normal) However, that's something I'm no longer comfortable doing.
Sums it up, mom!!I just asked my DD this. She said "I don't care what you wear, but I need a dress for graduation. I don't have any formal wear! Just wear your Kelly Danse." Alrighty then...
