I have the same size in white, and I’m 5’5 and a size 10-12 so very similar specs. I find that I reach for my coussin a *ton* because a) it fits everything I need for daily use b) it’s not a “tiny” bag that looks small compared to my frame (I love my Chanel mini for instance but sometimes feel this way with it on) and c) it’s so versatile with being able to dress it up or down. I actually wore it out last weekend with the chain (I’m also mostly casual and 95% of the time just use the fabric strap and ditch the chain at home) and carried it clutch style, with the chain hanging down with just jeans, a frilly top and booties and I thought it looked so cute! I love this bag honestly.
also, that’s where I usually wear it length-wise as a crossbody (sometimes even shorter) and I think it’s really comfortable ! Enjoy

I think the length is just fine on you. If you don't have winter (?) it should be ok. I plan to get this bag too as a winter bag, so with down coat or thicker coat, the strap length becomes more important. You can always add a key chain between the bag and strap to make it a bit longer without getting a new strap. A little trick I learned online.
I like it, but, if you are having second thoughts you shouldn’t keep it. I’ve always regretted when I’ve kept something that I wasn’t in love with.
I too think it looks great on you. I’m a tall person, so almost all LV straps are too short for crossbody for me. I go to Mautto and get extenders for my bags, they don’t cost a lot and it lets me wear whatever I want crossbody. They have so many options, and they will even do custom for you if you don’t find a good fit for the Coussin at first. Good luck with your decision! I think it’s a gorgeous bag.
