I picked this up today, thinking it might make a good cosmetic type bag. I would take the chain off it if I were to use it that way. Thoughts?

I have two of these that I use as cosmetic bags. I cut the handle off leaving just enough leather to pull...about an inch or so

Great idea, ladies! I really don't like the width of Coach's cosmetic cases, and now there's a solution!

This is working great - typical cosmetic bags are so wide at the bottom - this one is just right! I took the chain off so it isn't too weighty now.
