What do you think of this Speedy 25 DA?

Hi Friends,

The seller has offered me a good price on this bag. I'm not sure what I think about the condition. What mostly concerns me is the weirdness around the pocket that I cannot figure out (I've asked, and am waiting on an answer as to what is happening there).

Some hardware is pretty worn, but that's probably okay.

Overall, what do you think? Is there something funky about this bag, or am I seeing things because the pocket is overly influencing me?

It depends on the price, but that bag is way too worn for my taste. I'd want to replace all of the leather and get it deep cleaned, which is way too much work for a bag, in my opinion.

You know, I was thinking that too. The more I looked at it, the messier it looked.

I would not pay $600 for a bag that's super worn.
I'd rather save up a couple more hundred to buy a better looking preloved Speedy.

And if you ever want to replace the handles/hardware, the total will probably end up close to original retail price anyway.

The other reason it turned my head is that it was made in a special year for me. I told her no yesterday, but she tried to convince me that it is really in very good shape and how she takes care of her bag, etc. and maybe I don't know what to expect with pre-loved (which I buy all the time!). I started to wonder if it was the photos.

It was great to wake up this morning and see all your comments. It is not the photos, it is the bag.
