I think back in the 1960’s charm bracelets like this were popular. They were often loaded with charms.

I actually thought that because of the size and the weight of this bracelet, and because it has triple links, it’s rather unusual. I won’t use it as a charm bracelet, I think it’d be too much with charms on.

My grandmother loved her clinky tinky charm bracelet. It weighs a ton. She gave me the lighter one on my 16 birthday. After she died I had the one (16th birthday) charm on my bracelet moved to her bracelet. I wear the plain gold chain all the time. I think it's pretty and classic looking! Go for it!

The only caution I would give you is that the coils are unfinished in that the ends of each coil stick out as opposed to being soldered down. That would make me nuts because it would catch on everything.

Totally agree with you that the coils not being soldered will catch, and be an utter nuisance!
I’m going back to England, and I’ll be receiving the bracelet there. It’s much safer than having it sent here. Anything that isn’t soldered properly will be soldered, as I have to go to the jewellers to get some of my other jewellery up to par anyway.
