Just finished reading the thread and saw the pics. WOW - that garnet looks amazing on you! It really stands out WAY more than the traditional ring, which looks like what you see every day. but that garnet is like, WOW

Please update us! I personally would lean towards getting a traditional ring only because i love how they look and want people to know i'm engaged lol....with the garnet ring, people might not know it's an engagement ring, but having said that i think it's beautiful and i totally admire people who are so sure about their personal style and i think you should go for it!
