I think their designs are pretty, but I've heard that their items can be quite lightweight for the price. I do like how the stones are faceted and have the pretty veining (looks more natural to me -- VCA turquoise has always looked like enamel to me).

I do think that Tiffany would be a better investment (although unless you hold on to something for a long time, designer jewelry will almost always lose value in resale). The Tiffany brand is better known and seems to have had extraordinary staying power in the resale market.
 
I never buy my jewelry thinking of it as an investment. I buy what I like. I have seen a few Ippolita pieces I like, but it is very lightweight (for the price IMO) and I never buy plated jewelry. I prefer Marco Biciego for some of the same type of look, but I don't think I've seen any of it done in rose gold. A love bracelet would be more timeless, I think.
