What do you think of designer watches?

HI PF! I have a big birthday coming up and have decided on a watch I am torn between two very different watches: IWC Portugieser rose gold and Cartier Tank Francaise-solid rose gold medium. I currently own a Louis Cartier tank with alligator band. Any thoughts on which way to go? I will add I looked an literally every brand so these are the two finalist

They are so different but I suppose I prefer the Cartier on you.

I want to buy a nice Gaultier watch, the design is cool but people who buy from real watch brands tend to hate designer watches.

What is your opinion on designer fashion watches?

Design is a key element for watches and lots of fashion watches are reliable. Buy what you love and what suits you.

The Cartier because I've always been baffled by the cut off 12 and 6 numerals on the IWC.
