Hey girls! Just wanted your opinion:

I'm trying to figure out which path to take for my next purchase:

1. RG Love bracelet with 4 diamonds

or

2. Buy 1 RG Love bracelet + goodies (perhaps another Love? Or a baby Love? Or an Hermes CDC? Maybe a VCA goodie? Or a few Bal bags? Lots of things that I'd like to buy with the extra money :p)

I was so convinced that I wanted a Love with diamonds until I really thought about it. Is it worth the extra ~$5k USD for 4 little diamonds? I'd hate to get the regular RG and ACTUALLY want the diamonds...but then I'd hate to get the diamond RG and be disappointed.

What do you gals think? Is the extra money worth a little sparkle? I can't help but think of the nice DBTY necklace with more sparkle that I could purchase with the extra money...

I'd love to hear your thoughts and advice! :heart:

I'm in the minority around here, I love the screw motif so much, I'm not really in love with the diamond version. I would much rather have the money for another Cartier piece like a ring or a watch.

I feel the exact same way. I love diamonds and I love the Love bracelet but I'm not a fan of them together. My vote is go plain and then get some more goodies : )

I can't decide on what to vote for...

On the one hand it's a lot of money for 4 little diamonds and I like the ways the screws look on the bracelets, but then when I look at my full diamond love ring next to my two bracelets, one plain RG/one WG w/1 diamond in the center, I wish they had diamonds too.

So, do you think it is going to bother you later? Make sure you get what you want the 1st time.

I'm a huge fan of diamonds but I actually prefer the love bracelet without. Granted, it looks stunning, but I'd go for the regular love, the DBTY you mentioned and a bal bag. Hello shopping spree!

The difference between the 4 diamond Love and the plain is $3775 not $5000 if that makes a difference. The diamond Love is $9350 and the plain is $5575. I was debating if I should go with diamonds and I decided that they add some sparkle to the bracelet and if I didn't get them I would wish that I had...Yes they are expensive diamonds but that is to be expected with Cartier diamonds. It comes out to under $1000 for each of the 4 diamonds. The diamond dial on a Rolex adds about $3000 to the price and for me the it was worth it and those are much smaller diamonds. For some the diamonds just aren't worth it but for some they are....I personally really love the diamonds on the Love bracelet and I am actually picking up my 4 diamond Love today!

Ahhh you girls have such good ideas....especially what to do with the extra money!:laugh:

Now I'm really torn! If only Santa could bring me the a RG with diamonds and then I'd have LOTS of extra money!

Does any one know the carat weight of the diamonds in the love? I wish there was a way to ask future me if she regrets my decision haha.

Here's the other facet that I have a dilemma with: I have enough extra cash to buy the regular Love now. I'm still a teensy bit short to buy the diamond; would probably have enough by the end of the year. (Need to follow Suze Orman's rules ahahha!)

But if there's another price increase before the holidays, I'd kick myself for not just getting the diamond on a Red card or something and just paying it off in two months or just getting the regular sooner. (I've been consistently mad at myself for not getting the love....especially since I started eyeing it 4 years ago when it was only about 3.5k!)

And what do you girls think of layering a Love with another Love? Or a baby Love? or DBTY? Should a Love just stand on it's own in all of it's wonderful Cartier glory?

Chubbiebunnie - I'm so glad you posted this because I'm grappling with the same decision! As recently as last week, I was 100% sure that I'd be buying either A) 4-diamond WG love and Anita Ko spike bracelet to stack together, OR, B) 10-diamond WG love.

Now, instead of the above, I'm strongly considering the following: YG love, black leather WG Hermes CDC, and medium WG Anita Ko spike bracelet with 1 pave spike. I've been greatly enjoying the bracelet stacking trend, and this way, I come out of it with 3 timeless bracelets *and* about 3K ahead, as compared to my original 2 choices above.

We'll see, I'm still deciding and there's no rush. I'll be interested in seeing other people's responses here. :smile1:
