Ok, so I wanted to post this photo comp for melissatrv, or anyone else who might be interested in seeing the size and structure differences between the regular Maggie and the Madison carryall pilot. I apologize in that I can go up a size to the XL Maggie, but I don't have any of the new smaller versions.

I chose both leather and the croc style since the leather is very smooshy and the croc more structured. Both Maggies are the same size (regular size, or large size). Hopefully you can tell from my bad photos that the Madison carryall is a slight bit wider and maybe a tad taller as well side by side (if you consider the center of the Maggie at the lowest point). The carryall does not dip in the middle.

I feel like the Madison carryall is less structured, although I can make both bags sit up without complete puddling without anything in them (shown in the last two photos on my second post). The first 5 photos are taken with stuffing in the bags. Also, I feel that I have space left over in the Maggie, but I fill up the carryall. LOL, not sure why except that I use all the matching accessories for the carryall, which includes the large capacity wristlet, and the Maggie is deeper than the carryall. Actually, without the central zip pocket in the carryall, I'm not sure it would stand up...I think that helps!

For me, the carryall is easier to carry on my shoulder because it doesn't slip as badly as the Maggie straps do (even with the straps crossed), and the double straps are comfortable on the shoulder. Honestly, I really love the carryall more than the LEATHER Maggie. The reason is my contents tend to bulge and look ugly when in the side pockets on the leather version, but I don't have that problem with the carryall, which I think might be because they don't shift since the bag is thinner than the Maggie. Not sure, but I end up putting most all of my stuff in the central compartment of the Maggie, and leaving some packing paper in the sides.

The weight of the carryall is 2.1 pounds EMPTY, and the leather Maggie is about 1.9 pounds EMPTY. This is with the extra long strap on the carryall.

Hope this helps!

Actually I like the carryall a bit better than the Maggie, but think with the hardware it could be heavy. 3/4 of my spine is fused so I can't carry rocks, LOL. I thought the Ink Maggie was a bit heavy too so sure this Maggie will be also. But out of the two, think the Maggie might be lighter....I could be proved very wrong and the carryall end up being lighter!! But both are beautiful bags and don't think one can go wrong with either. Only wish the carryall was a bit smaller. My SA said they will also have small wallets but not sure what other accessories they will have in the new Croc. I don't usually buy wallets but might in this case! Such a sucker for pink croc, been my dream all my handbag buying life :smile1:

I just saw these wallets on the Japan Coach site yesterday (they were across one of the pages, where there is a rolling horizontal scroll bar, and I jotted down the style #43492, but when I went back today to look, I couldn't find them anymore, and even when I did a search by the style number nothing came up....Very strange.
Here they are, not sure what the actual colors are called since it's in Japanese, so I made up my own names based on what they looked like to me- bone and khaki ....
I really wish these new colors would come out in the larger size zip-around wallets as well (like the ink and black croc that were out a few months back). The Maggies are so darn big I feel like these mini wallets will always fall to the bottom and be hard to find in my purse.

Does anyone know if the Madison Hippie is the same size as the Parker Hippie that Dillards/Macy's is currently carrying?

Also do you know if the Madison or Parker Hippie can be order from Coach yet?

The new one is bigger than the small Hippies that are at Macy's right now. According to info posted earlier in this thread:

Style# 14579

Measurements 11" x 12" x 2.5"

As of 11/17 it wasn't in stock...but you can call JAX and find out if it's available yet...

Thanks Baglady for posting the pictures. I know it is such a pain to take and upload these. I appreciate it. It is so helpful when a new style comes out that few have seen IRL.

Also thanks CA and Tracy for the wallet info! I think I might have to have spurge on a small wallet as well :smile1:
