I think this bag will be fine if you are careful with it. I don't think any sateen bag will be as durable as a leather bag because of the nature of the material. Some of the inlaid C's are made out of suede, leather, metallic leather, and patent leather. The bag is red sateen on the bottom so I will be careful where I set it down.The shade changes from bright red on the bottom of the bag to a subtle variation of orange as it goes towards the top of the bag. I hope I have answered your questions. I don't know if it is available in any other colors. I found out about this bag on this thread.

I've been trying to order this from the Japan site, but it has neither shipped to Japan, or been created from what I've been able to gather.

OK, glad to know I'm not the only one who can't get it...I thought maybe the SA I was working with just didn't know how to look it up correctly.....

Ejoy43 posted drilldown pics of the XL Maggies were posted in the reference thread. If drilldown pics were able to be obtained, is it more likely that more of these bags are coming? I have been told by Jax to call back in early March but so far I have had no luck in getting more info. What do you think?

i ordered on and the original is 428 and with a pce it came to 340 with tax.

The Regular size in the Maggie is 428.00
the Bronze and Violet Maggies are XL they should be 498.00

Kind of bummed that the embroidered antique rose Maggie won't come in the current large size, just the smaller size and an XL size. Oh well, I just made up for it with Kristin.
