It all depends on the mother. My mother is 53 years old and said that she doesn't like things that say "mom" on them, but would definitely wear the RTT one, but I also know plenty of moms that would prefer the mom one!
What do you think about the Tiffany heart tag necklace? Too young?

I don't like the Mom one at all.
I have to disagree with everyone and say I think they are all too "young". I am in my mid twenties and I wouldn't dream of wearing anything RTT or heart tag. To me that is the line for teenage girls just starting out with Tiffany.
I think buying matching necklaces is a lovely idea though. How about something simple like one of these?

I definitely think it's personal preference. I am 24 years old, and I would both wear RTT and what you posted. The teardrop one is gorgeous.
I'm 53 and honestly wouldn't wear either the heart tag or RTT tag ones. I would find both too juvenile. It's pretty personal really. I don't honestly know any of my friends that would. I would think of them more for high school.

She will be 60 this year, and would not wear the RTT or the Mum necklaces - they are too young for her (she also prefers small, dainty pendants or long necklaces with bigger beads, and the RTT pendants are too big on the thin chains in her opinion). I feel the same about them, and I'm 28. But it's a matter of personal taste, and if you and your mum love them, then that's all that matters

Hi ladies thank you very much for your replies. I was, and still am, unsure of the necklace for my mom. I think I will try to find something else for her.
As for myself, I really like the rtt. Perhaps it is a bit young-ish, but I think it looks really cute on me so I will probably get it for myself.
