I had my Love engraved. One day I tightened the screw and it tore my wrist up. Literally gouged skin and left deep scratches until it bled. This bracelet had gone in once after engraving because the screw was stuck when it was returned to me. I guess they replaced the screw with a very sharp, unpolished screw.
I received a new bracelet and turned in the one that scratched the heck out of my wrist.

I have my husband fist name and our wedding day engraved in my Étincelle wedding band.
That is my only piece of jewelry that is engraved (but that’s quite common to do with a wedding band I think).

My gosh, that’s awful! I hope you’re okay and it didn’t leave permanent scarring.

Glad they gave you a new bracelet :hugs:

No permanent scarring. It took weeks to heal. Just a cautionary tale when sending in your bracelet for work.

Just a side note. I almost selected the rainbow love as my replacement, but the difference in price wasn’t penny wise to me.

Thanks for the heads up. I don’t plan to get my pieces engraved but definitely helpful advice for anyone who does want to.

The rainbow LOVE is so pretty! The price difference is quite a bit though. I think I’m happy with one LOVE bracelet in my collection :)
