What do you angrave on your wedding band?

we have "right up my alley" in ours. When we first met, I think I used that term to describe him. And he apparently had JUST told his mom and friends that I was right up his like a day prior. So he felt like "wow, this person really thinks just like me". When we got our rings figured out that's what we put in them. Since I don't wear THAT ring in my normal set, that ring is locked up when I am not wearing it. The sentiment is a big deal to me.

like others have said, suggest to them that they put something meaningful, sentimental, or something that makes them smile, like a phrase or in joke.

On my last band it was the date and intials.

Mine says ** (initials) to ** (initials) and then the date.

ours also. traditionally i guess (our jeweler told us this) you put your maiden name initials TO your hubbys intials. and opposite for the other band. i thought it was cute so that's what we did
