Most of my bags are secondhand. I've bought from eBay, local web flea markets and resell sites, and also Vestiaire. Out of these, by far the worst experience was with Vestiaire. Shady and not customer oriented, when there's a problem. Their CS's answer was basically "tough look, not helping you sort this out". 0/10 would not recommend!
I usually pay around half of the original price, but for my Coach Cassie I paid nearly the original RRP on eBay because I wanted a color that wasn't for sale in Finland.

I bought an RH Box Bolide 35 from a B&M store (that also has an online presence). I can't remember how much it was but it wasn't perfect but the price must have been OK because I bought it - and I already had a Bolide of the same size.
For bags: Saint Laurent, LV, Burberry, Chanel
Stores: Fashionphile and The Purse Affair
At that time, the prices were great!
For Fashionphile, I’d get a bag for 40-50% off in excellent or like-new condition. And tbh I’m so glad I bought those bags pre-loved because I ended up either gifting them or reselling them at the price I paid for.
Chanel CF was always a bit tricky since Fashionable did sell them at a higher price in general so I went to the Purse Affair which is Australian.
I bided my time and got my now vintage CF (small caviar black gold hdw) for $3400 USD including tax.
I have not bought preloved since right before the pandemic though.

I have bought from several vintage dealers over the years mostly from when I am in Paris (mostly Hermes)
as I not only look for Kellys but also vintage accessories that are no longer in production & RTW as well
& embroidered & beaded shawls.

Most of my luxury bags are preloved. From Fashionphile: LV Twice in black empreinte for a little under retail (this bag weirdly holds it value), an LV Epi Alma BB for very slightly above retail (it was a limited edition color, and retail prices have since increased by a lot), Gucci WOC for 30% off retail, Fendi Mini Peekaboo for well over 60% off retail.
Have one bag from Rebag, a Dior WOC for 50% off.

I really like deals. Now, I mainly buy boutique BK, but during Covid SIP, I took advantage of extremely well priced bargains (At the time, I was told that prices were rock bottom, and may not go this low again. No one else was buying)
I did pass up a great ostrich 30B in my favorite Bleu de malte for 11 K and an ardoise box kelly, phw, for 4K, from fashionphile that I should have bought
Post Covid buy, a 29 medor clutch, ardoise box, phw, I think 2 or 2.5K USD

30B swift gold, phw, color corrected by @docride (suntan damage), 7K,
30B vache liegee, metallic art bag, handles lightened by @docride, 5K

Fashionphile, yoogis closet, Docride, AFF, various Japanese resellers, like Brandoff or BrandJFA, TPF marketplaza (BV etc)
If you are in the US, and you purchase on a Japanese reseller site, add 10% customs and applicable state sales tax just in case. Precovid, the resellers would ship EMS which did not seem to always incur customs and state, but Covid times DHL usually did. If you are not expert, you should obtain third party professional authentication (photo based) prior to purchase, and pay by PP backed by cc, not bank transfer or debit. Always do your DD with respect to any reseller prior to purchase.
H spa and/or third party professional spa can add considerably to the cost, but they are essential services (I use both)

I once bought a YSL Sac du Jour on Poshmark (in 2019). My purchasing experience was fine, but based on my selling experience and the many horror stories I've heard, I wouldn't recommend.
I’ve purchased an OG Hermes TPM with the leather strap in excellent condition for $900 and a brand new Lindy 26 for $7,000 from eBay prior to covid. Don’t think I’d do that again with the proliferation of super fakes nowadays.
I’ve purchased older bags that are now a good deal since they isn’t a huge demand for them <$500. Miu miu bow bag, Proenza Schouler PS1, Fendi peekaboo, Fendi By the Way. I do a lot of research to find out which bags are at risk for being fake. I have used Poshmark, Vestiaire, my luxury closet and some Canadian consignment boutiques. I avoid the US because the duties are often $$$.
Fashionphile, yoogis closet, Japanese resellers - eLady, Brandoff , TPF marketplaza….each bag was the most 50% of retail, most were 30% or in case of BV 10%
Fashionphile (though duties kill me, so it has to be something spectacular), Poshmark (the best has been a whipstitch beige Dior Mini Gaucho Saddle bag) and Japanese ebay sellers.
