Bal started using lamb in f/w 07 so that season was a mixture of lamb and goat. In 07 the mirror still had a pocket on the bac. From s/s 08 Bal used lamb only. The pocket on the mirror was omitted in the f/w 08 season, if I remember rightly.
Half of my '09/'10 bags and accsossoies have the swatches, but half of them not... Even the PT I ordered from bal.com "forgot" to included it. I prefer to have them all but too much work calling around

I guess it's not as bad as I've seen someone missing the date card.hi, i'm not sure where to go with this, but my husband bought me my very first Balenciaga for Valentines but i'm a little worried as when he went to get it, he just told the assistant the colour and style i wanted (Black City GSH), never asked any questions, just paid for the bag and left. When he came home he showed me the bag to make sure he'd got the right one. After telling him it was perfect i then decided to check it over, and found nothing in the bag, no mirror, no date card, care booklet etc, just the bag, so i got onto Selfridges straight away and explained the situation only to be told they weren't sure what they could do as each bag comes with its own items and because they werent there she could not offer a refund. i said i didnt want a refund i wanted what should have come with it as the bag is incomplete without them and for over £1100 you'd expect to at least get the mirror, she then said she would have a look around and call me back. after 2 hours of waiting she eventually called to say they couldnt locate it but was willing to give me another from another bag. After my husband collected the items i started to feel a little dubious on whether i had the correct tag for the bag and so this is my dilema. How do i know, can someone please help because i dont have a clue what all the numbers mean

Hi cazgray17, I am sorry to hear what happened. Perhaps you could check the thread in the Reference Library to see what style or season those codes refer to.

Speaking about leather swatch, there was one from the recent City that I bought. It is a Nuage RH City. However, there's no extra tassel in the bag. Is there still extra tassles that comes with the Bbag? Does anybody know? thanks!!!

Well, the mystery isn't solved for me...I don't see an official explanation here of what the purpose of the swatch is. Does anyone know?
Hello. Today I finally picked up my first bbag but I'm confused what does my bag includes. I have the nm price tag, the half folded card, and the mirror but I'm missing the paper tag, swatch, and extra tassels ( if they do come with it). When I ask about the paper tag the sa seems to have no clue what I'm talking about. Is it important to have the paper tag? Thanks in advance!
I picked up my first B bag today from NM - coquelicot GSH City. I asked the SA if it came with extra tassels and she said that the City style does not come with extra tassels (she said other styles does like the Day etc, but not City). Is this true?
It might be useful if you plan to resell the bag later on. It can help identify the bag because it has the season/year and style numbers. But it's not that important IMO.
I have never seen an explanation for it. I do remember that they started including the swatch about the same time they stopped including extra tassels for the RH bags.
I think it would be infinitely better for them to keep their stupid swatch, and continue to include the extra tassels.
