I think it is true to color. It's a smoky, medium purple. The SA at Macy's described it as having a blue tone, which it does not. It is definitely purple, IMO. Which is great, since purple is my favorite color. I did notice that the color looks a bit different depending on the leather. My bag is saffiano, so the regular leather may look different.

I wear a lot of black but I like to accessorize with color so besides my black, dark dune & luggage bags, I'll pull out my red, sapphire blue, aqua, & of course my exotics.
